There have been several scientific studies that have found a high prevalence of mold in air conditioning systems in Dubai. One such study was conducted by researchers at the American University of Sharjah, who analyzed air conditioner filters and coils in 47 residential buildings across Dubai. The study found that over 90% of the air conditioners analyzed had some degree of mold growth.

Another study, published in the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health, analyzed air samples taken from air conditioners in various public buildings in Dubai, including hospitals and schools. The study found that over 80% of the air samples tested positive for mold.

These studies suggest that mold is a common problem in air conditioning systems in Dubai, and proper maintenance and cleaning of these systems is essential to prevent mold growth and ensure a healthy indoor environment.
